Drawn before his debut in ASM 238.

This Hobgoblin art is published in Official Handbook of Marvel Universe #5 (1983) and in Back Issue magazine where the full pencils are shown and referenced by Romita Jr. as the model sheet for Hobgoblin. It was also on the Secret Wars Toy Action Figure of the Hobgoblin
